Keeping Children Safe in Education
As much as education is important to One World Education, safeguarding our students is always at the forefront of our mind. With our CEO and Head Teacher being Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and our assistant heads all being Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL).
All of our staff complete termly refreshers in child protection.
The Senior Leadership Team hold weekly meetings actioning any concerns safeguarding issues.
The CEO is in close contact with Local Authorities and attends meetings if the need arises to support our students.
All staff know the procedure to follow if they are concerned about a child’s safety.
It is paramount to us that all of our students feel happy, safe and secure whilst studying at One World Education.
