Summative assessments occur towards the end of the school year and are compared to the baseline assessments at the start of the year.

Parent consultation meetings are held between the tutor and the parent. If a student is completing 1:1 interventions then a meeting with the SENDCO will also be held.

Student reports are written in the winter term and in the summer term. This way progress can be clearly shown throughout the year.

Teachers may issue an end of topic quiz for the students to recognise the amount of progress they have made in their learning journey.
